Four years ago, Wayne Clarke was hired as Hiram & Solomon Cigars’ sales representative. Now, he’s the company’s general manager and sales director, as company founder Fouad Kashouty announced his appointment on Friday.

“I am happy to be home again,” says Clarke in a press release. “I couldn’t be more excited to be joining a great team of reps, as well as coming back to work with Fouad and George (Dakrat) to grow the company. I would like to thank the excellent team at General Cigar for having me as a part of their family for the past two years.”

He added that one of his goals is to show that Hiram & Solomon is not just a cigar for the Masonic community, but one for the entire cigar community.

I am an editor and co-founder of halfwheel.com/Rueda Media, LLC. I previously co-founded and published TheCigarFeed, one of the two predecessors of halfwheel. I have written about the cigar industry for more than a decade, covering everything from product launches to regulation to M&A. In addition, I handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff here at halfwheel. I enjoy playing tennis, watching boxing, falling asleep to the Le Mans 24, wearing sweatshirts year-round and eating gyros. echte liebe.
