The eight vitola in the Headley Grange line began arriving in stores this week.

First announced via Twitter in April, the Laguito No. 6 measures 6 x 56 and is now the thickest size in the Headley Grange lineup, topping out the 5 1/2 x 52 Estupendos by two ring gauges. The Laguito No. 6 retails for $10.50 in boxes of 10, and joins five regular production sizes and two limited edition vitolas in the line. Headley Grange produced at the Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr.’s Tabacalera La Alianza S.A. in the Dominican Republic.

According to co-owner Jon Huber, the cigars reached the Crowned Heads headquarters in Nashville, Tenn. last Tuesday and were promptly boxed up and sent out to retailers.

I have been smoking cigars for over eight years. A documentary wedding photographer by trade, I spent seven years as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I started the cigar blog SmokingStogie in 2008 after realizing that there was a need for a cigar blog with better photographs and more in-depth information about each release. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars. I am a co-founder of halfwheel and now serve as an editor for halfwheel.
