Earlier this month, the island of Oahu banned smoking on public beaches and parks. On Friday, a bill to ban smoking on all public beaches and parks in Hawaii heads to the House Water and Land and Hawaiian Affairs.
Yesterday, multiple people testified in favor of a ban with no one formally speaking in opposition according to Hawaii News Now. If it passes, it will head to the House Judiciary Committee.
