Earlier this year, Hammer + Sickle announced that it would be rebranding its Icon Series to Trademark Series following a trademark dispute with Cigars International. At that time, it was announced that there would be a Maduro version later in the year to go along with the Connecticut shade version.

That cigar will debut at the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show & Convention, which begins next weekend in New Orleans, La.

The Trademark Series Maduro uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over the same Dominican binder and fillers of the original. Like the original line, it will be offered in Robusto (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 50) and Churchill (7 x 48) with pricing set between $8.50-9.50.

Both cigars are made at Oettinger Davidoff AG’s Occidental Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic.

Davidoff is the official sponsor of halfwheel's coverage of the 2015 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.
