Hammer + Sickle has a new line and a new size in the works for this year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

The company will launch the Museum Series, which is a special aged version of the company’s Moscow City Series. The Museum Series will be offered only in a 6 x 50 size, which is not offered in the Moscow City line, with a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, Dominican binder and Dominican fillers. The cigar does not contain Connecticut broadleaf tobacco that is normally found in the filler of the Moscow City line.

It will be sold in ornate 20-count jars. Production numbers and pricing have not been announced.

The company has also shown off a Salomones vitola for its Tradición Serie. That line uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Dominican binder and Dominican fillers.

Erik Wentworth, national sales manager for Hammer + Sickle, told halfwheel the company has not finalized the size of the Salomones.

Davidoff is the official sponsor of halfwheel's coverage of the 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.
