Habanos S.A. Promotes Lisset Fernández García to General Counsel
Habanos S.A. has promoted Lisset Fernández García to general counsel of Habanos S.A.
Four months ago, Fernández García was promoted to legal director of the company.
García, who holds a law degree from Universidad de La Habana. Prior to her September appointment as Habanos’ legal director, she was a trade policy specialist at Cuba’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and from 2012-2014 was the alternate representative to the Latin American Integration Association (ALADI).
Her professional career also includes participating in several international events including the MERCOSUR Summit in 2013, the 6th Conference of the Parties to the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control in 2014 and the 10th Conference of the World Trade Organization in 2015.
