The new product will contain eight Cohiba cigars, two each of the Pirámides Extra from the Línea Clásica series, Siglo VI from the Línea 1492 line, Genios of the Línea Maduro 5 line and Behike 56 from the Línea Behike. A total of 10,000 humidors are being produced and will be sold in duty free and travel retail shops around the world.

A spokesperson from Habanos S.A. did not have an exact release date for the new humidor or a price, which figures to vary from market to market as is the case with other Habanos S.A. releases.

Habanos S.A. has already released a number of new lines to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cohiba marca, including Medio Siglo, a 4 x 52 vitola added to the Linea 1492 series; Cohiba Majestuosos 1966, which measures 5 9/10 x 58; and Cohiba Grandiosos the first 60 ring gauge cigar made by Habanos S.A. and which was released in elegant humidors made by Elie Bleu that have been selling for a minimum of $220,000.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
