Habanos S.A. has announced its annual trio of Edición Limitadas, selecting the Montecristo, Ramón Allones and—for the first time ever—Quai d’Orsay brands.

The announcement was made earlier today at the kick off of the annual Festival del Habano in Havana, Cuba. The Edición Limitada Series was started in 2000 and has been relatively consistent ever since. Each year—since 2005—Habanos S.A. creates three different cigars, all non-production sizes of existing brands. In addition, all the tobacco used for Edición Limitadas is said to be aged for at least two years.

This year’s trio is:

  • Montecristo Supremos Edición Limitada 2019 — 5 1/8 (130mm) x 55
  • Ramón Allones Allones No. 2 Edición Limitada 2019 — 5 1/2 (140mm) x 52
  • Quai d’Orsay Senadores Edición Limitada 2019 — 6 3/16 (157mm) x 48

This is the ninth time Montecristo has been selected for an Edición Limitada, the third time for Ramón Allones and the first for Quai d’Orsay.
