In addition to new blends, Gurkha Cigar Group will be expanding two of its existing line with extensions at this year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

The company will add a Toro (6 x 50, $10) to its Private Select line. The bigger story is that the maduro-wrapped rum-infused line is getting a natural counterpart. The Private Select Natural uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Dominican fillers. Both the Maduro and Natural versions are infused with Ron Abuelo 7-year rum.

The Classic Cigar- Havana Blend Lancero

Gurkha’s East India Co. will see its The Classic Cigar: Havana Blend get a Lancero (7 x 42, $8) added to its line. That cigar uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers. It’s made at American Caribbean Tobacco S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.

In addition, the company’s Spec Ops will get an upgrade in the form of a new Sniper Case. Spec Ops comes in a Pelican-style case with 20 cigars, a knife and challenge coin. The new Sniper Case will include the knife and challenge coin and will retail for $240. Spec Ops uses a Dominican wrapper, Indonesian binder and Dominican fillers.

The 2015 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show begins July 17 in New Orleans, La.
