Gurkha will not only be rolling out some new lines at this summer’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, but it will be adding new vitolas to six of its existing lines.

The Gurkha Marquesa, which debuted at last year’s show, will be adding the Magnum, a 6 x 60 priced at $10 per cigar. Both the Cellar Reserve 12 Year and Cellar Reserve 15 Year will get a 5 x 52 Robusto and 6 x 54 Toro; the 12 Year versions will be priced at $9 and $9.50, while the 15 Year comes with MSRPs of $9.50 and $10, respectively.

On the infused side, a trio of coronas, all measuring 5 x 42, will be joining the catalog. In the Gurkha Grand Reserve, a cognac infused line, it will cost $11 per cigar, while the Gurkha Bourbon Collection and Gurkha Private Select, the latter of which gets infused with Ron Abuelo rum, will each be priced at $10.

All of the new sizes are expected to ship by the end of August.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
