After a few delays, the Gran Habano Corojo No. 7 is finally shipping to stores.

First announced more than a year ago, the Corojo No. 7 is intended to be a stronger blend than the existing Corojo No. 5. It is made at the company’s factory in Honduras, though the blend is made entirely of corojo-seed tobaccos grown in Nicaragua including a wrapper from the Jalapa region. Gran Habano is launching the line in a 6 x 54 toro extra size and the first 10,000 cigars will come packaged in a unique 10-count, cedar-lined leather case.

These cases are priced at $285 and each case comes with a torch lighter that the company values at $60.

Production of the cigar is limited to 16,000 cigars per year. The company says that the other 6,000 cigars for 2024 will come in boxes of 20, with the MSRP set at $15 per cigar.

“We are thrilled to finally release the Corojo #7 blend to our loyal customers and cigar enthusiasts around the world,” said George Rico, president of Gran Habano Cigars, in a press release last year. “This blend has been a labor of love, and we are confident that it will exceed expectations.”
