What’s old is new again is certainly a theme of this year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show and one of the new entires is very old.

Goose Bone Cigars, an old name being brought back by John Giese, a retail tobacconist, will be on display in the Evil Genius booth. Giese is partnering with the company to help introduce the cigar to the market.

Goose Bone uses a Sumatran wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. It’s offered in four sizes: Corona ($2.86), Robusto ($3.04), Toro ($3.24) and Churchill ($3.50). Each size comes in boxes of 20.

“Goose Bone cigars hit a valuable price point, significantly expanding our range of products for retailers and the end consumer,” said Alex Hirsch, president of Evil Genius Cigars in a statement provided to halfwheel.

The 2016 IPCPR Convention Trade Show begins July 25 in Las Vegas.

Note: The original version of this story stated John Giese was a former retail tobacconist. He reached out and let us know that he was still a retail tobacconist.
