Fratello Announces Navetta Inverso

Fratello Cigars has announced its latest line: Navetta Inverso.

As the Inverso part of the name implies, the cigar is actually an inverse of the Navetta line the company introduced last year. It uses a Nicaraguan habano wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers.

For context, the original Navetta uses an Ecuadorian oscuro wrapper over a Dominican wrapper and Nicaraguan fillers.

“It does not seize to amaze me how one leaf of tobacco can change a blend entirely,” said Omar de Frias, Fratello’s founder, in a press release. “In our case we changed it all.”

It is offered in three sizes.

  • Fratello Navetta Inverso Corona Gorda (5 7/8 x 46) — $9.50 (Boxes of 20, $190)
  • Fratello Navetta Inverso Robusto (5 1/4 x 54) — $11.25 (Boxes of 20, $225)
  • Fratello Navetta Inverso Toro Grande (6 1/4 x 54) — $12.50 (Boxes of 20, $250)

Navetta Inverso will be shown off at next week’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show in Las Vegas and begin shipping in September.
