Later this year, the Fratello Pennsylvania will begin shipping to one of the most important states to the cigar industry.

The Fratello Pennsylvanian is a 6 x 52 toro that uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Dominican binder and a mix of Nicaraguan and Pennsylvanian fillers.

It is priced at $11 and limited to 300 boxes of 10 cigars. The cigar is being produced at the La Aurora Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic

“Pennsylvania has been critical to the success of Fratello from the beginning, and what better way to say ‘thank you’ to the retailers there than with a blend exclusive to the state.” said Omar de Frias, founder of Fratello, in a press release.

It will begin shipping in November.

This is the sixth regional exclusive for Fratello following releases for Delaware, Maryland, Texas, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Update (Jan. 11, 2021) — The company clarified that the cigar is known as the Fratello Pennsylvania and contains Pennsylvania-grown tobacco in the filler. The original story referred to the cigar as the Fratello Pennsylvanian and did not mention the Pennsylvania-grown tobacco, both based on the original press release issued by the company.
