Fox Cigar Bar, which has two stores just outside of Phoenix, Ariz., has received a limited edition 5 1/2 x 43 corona vitola in Drew Estate’s Deadwood The Girl With No Name line.

The Deadwood The Girl With No Name line debuted in October 2022 when a 6 x 52 toro vitola was released to Cigars International, with the cigar being offered through Cigar.com and Thompson Cigar—both of which are operated by Cigars International—beginning on Jan. 1, 2023. In March 2023, a 5 x 54 robusto extra was released as an exclusive to Famous Smoke Shop.

Pricing for the new corona size is set at $99.99 per box of 10 cigars, though the store is offering a discount for the cigar’s launch that brings the price down to $76.99 per box. Individual cigars are priced at $9.99. The cigar is described as a limited production, but the quantity is not being disclosed, according to a representative for Fox Cigar Bar.

Drew Estate does not disclose the blend of the Deadwood The Girl With No Name, other than to say that it uses a maduro wrapper leaf and is “blended with aromatic and exotic tobaccos that accentuate the cigars’ natural sweetness and provide an enchanting smoking experience.”

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
