Time Flies is back.

Last year, Ventura Cigar Co. announced that it acquired Foundry Tobacco Co. from General Cigar Co./Scandinavian Tobacco Group, now the company has its first Foundry release for sale. Only, it’s not new. Instead, Ventura acquired the remaining inventory of a 2016 Foundry release.

Time Flies is a four-size line that was introduced in mid-2016, perhaps most notable for being produced by Abdel Fernández in Nicaragua. It uses an Ecuadorian habano 2000 wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. Foundry was the brainchild of Michael Giannini, who worked at General and is now the general manager for Ventura.

  • Time Flies Robusto (5 x 50) — $7.99 (Boxes of 20, $159.80)
  • Time Flies Toro (6 x 52) — $8.39 (Boxes of 20, $167.80)
  • Time Flies Churchill (7 1/4 x 54) — $8.99 (Boxes of 20, $179.80)
  • Time Flies Gordo (6 x 60) — $9.39 (Boxes of 20, $187.80)

The above prices reflect a roughly 40 cent per cigar increase over the prices the brand was introduced at by General Cigar Co.

Ventura says it might change the packaging once the current stock is sold through.
