Foundation Cigar Co. has announced that it will be updating the packaging for The Upsetters.

The new designs come from Colectivo Atol, the Nicaraguan-based artists who have created art for Foundation in the past, notably designing the artwork for the company’s trade show booth last year.

For the new packaging, inspiration is drawn from famous Jamaican musicians, which are displayed on the vistas, the inside of the lid. In addition, each cigar—except the 4 x 32 Ska vitola—now gets a secondary band.

The Upsetters debuted in 2016, an eight-size line that uses Jamaican and Nicaraguan fillers. Its name is inspired by the name of the house band of the legendary Jamaican artist, Lee “Scratch” Perry.

Foundation will debut the new designs at the 2019 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, which begins June 29 in Las Vegas.
