This year marks the 25th anniversary of Falto and is often the case with major anniversaries, there’s a special cigar to celebrate. Two cigars, in fact.

The Falto Edición ELH Hato Viejo 2018 is a 5 1/2 x 52 robusto extra that uses an Ecuadorian corojo wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic. It is priced at $8 per cigar.

There is also a second cigar, the Falto La Pureza Lancero, a 6 7/8 x 40 vitola. It uses an Ecuadorian HVA wrapper over a Dominican criollo 98 binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic. It has an MSRP of $7.50 per cigar.

Both cigars are being made at La Aurora Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic.

Update (Oct. 6, 2020) — The Falto Edición ELH Hato Viejo 2018 has been delayed, with Falto now estimating it will arrive in March 2021.
