Espinosa Especial On the Way To Stores

Fans of Espinosa Cigars awaiting the company’s newest release will have to wait no longer, as the Espinosa Especial is on its way to retailers.

The cigar uses a Mexican Capa Negra wrapper while the binders and fillers come from the four main cigar growing
regions of Nicaragua: Estelí, Jalapa, Condega and Ometepe. It is being released in three sizes: the No. 1 (6 1/2 x 48, $8.75), the No. 4 (5 x 52, $8.25) and the No. 5 (6 x 54, $8.95), each packed in 10-count boxes.

The cigar was announced in early April and expected to be on store shelves later that month, though the company decided to delay the line’s release to give the cigars additional time to rest and age. During the 2015 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, it was said it would begin shipping in about three weeks, which would have had it on shelves in mid-August. Another decision to hold off on shipping was made in order to get the cigars to their optimum levels before sending them to retail.

The cigars are made at Erik Espinosa’s La Zona factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
