Once slated for only events, the Alpha Dawg from Espinosa Premium Cigars will now become a regular production offering.

Earlier this year, the company held La Zona Palooza at its Miami headquarters and allowed attendees to vote on one of three packaging designs for what was then a cigar that was going to come in bundles.

As it turns out, the cigar will be offered in three sizes in 10-count boxes: Corona Gorda (5 1/2 x 46, $8), Robusto (5 x 50, $8.25) and Short Churchill (6 x 48, $8.75).

Alpha Dawg uses a habano rosado oscuro wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers.

Hector J. Alfonso Sr., the factory operations director for the company, indicated that the decision to make Alpha Dawg a regular production item was a result of the upcoming regulations of cigars by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA).

Alpha Dawg will debut at the 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show which begins July 25 in Las Vegas.
