The third Warhead from Espinosa Premium Cigars is coming to this year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

This year’s size is a 7 1/2 x 38 box-pressed lancero. Warhead uses a broadleaf wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The company did modify the blend composition to fit the thinner size.

Warhead is the stronger version of the 601 La Bomba blend. It debuted in 2013 in a 6 1/2 x 54 size and returned the next year in a 5 1/2 x 56 vitola. There was no release last year.

Suggested retail pricing is $10.95 per cigar.

The company says it made 500 boxes for the initial shipment, but it will “react accordingly” depending on sales.
