Epic Cigars is partnering with Bigg Golf, which makes golf balls, for a new cigar called The Bigg Stick.

It’s a 6 1/2 x 54 toro that uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over binders from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua and fillers from Nicaragua. The Bigg Stick is made at Tabacalera Von Eiken in the Dominican Republic, a factory formerly known as Charles Fairmorn, and the company says the cigars were aged for one year before its release.

The MSRP is set at $16 per cigar and it will be offered in 10-count boxes and bundles. Dean Parsons of Epic told halfwheel that the bundles are already shipping and the boxes are expected to arrive in late April. A launch for The Bigg Stick was held last month at the Johnny Damon Celebrity Golf Classic in Kissimmee, Fla.

Zander-Greg, the parent company of Epic, will distribute The Bigg Stick, which is a regular production item.

Bigg Golf sells its Score Crusher golf balls, as well as accessories, one of which is a hollowed-out golf ball that is designed to be a cigar holder.
