Elie Bleu is releasing a special version of its J-14 torch flame lighter.

The Elie Bleu Haute Couture Limited Edition Casa Cubana J-14 Jet Flame lighter is notable not just because it’s part of Elie Bleu’s expansive Casa Cubana collection but also because it uses a black IP finish. IP, which stands for ion plating, is a process where the ions are distributed onto a surface and bound to the source material. The major advantage is that the plating won’t flake off or chip away like a paint coating would.

Elie Bleu says this Casa Cubana J-14 Jet Flame lighter will have an MSRP of $550 per lighter and is limited to just 159 pieces worldwide. Rëyns International, Elie Bleu’s U.S. distributor, expects to ship the lighter to stores in late October or early November.

The J-14 lighter is a single-flame torch lighter that was introduced in 2016. Unlike most torch flame lighters, it is made in Japan.

The Casa Cubana Series is one of Elie Bleu’s most expansive collection. It started as a series of humidors of different sizes and shapes that were painted to look like buildings in Havana, Cuba. The idea is that if you aligned multiple humidors next to one another, they will look like a street in Havana. Over the years, Elie Bleu has released dozens of different humidors as part of the series as well as a growing collection of other accessories like lighters, cutters and ashtrays.
