El Septimo Geneva S.A. has announced a new two-size line that the company says is targeted at female cigar smokers.

It’s called the Alexandra Collection, a line made entirely of Costa Rican tobacco.

  • El Septimo Alexandra Collection Coco (5 3/10 x 52) — $25
  • El Septimo Alexandra Collection Marylin (5 1/8 x 58) — $30

According to the company, the Coco uses two ligeros, six secos and one volado while the Marylin uses two ligeros, four secos and a ligero. The tobacco is grown near San José, Costa Rica on a mountain at 2,000 meters of elevation. The company says that the tobacco is aged between 5-15 years.

“Today, more than ever, women are finding enjoyment in the taste and aroma of premium, hand-rolled cigars, but are often ignored by the industry,” said Zaya Younan, chairman and ceo of Younan Collection, in a press release. “Since we acquired El Septimo earlier this year, we have put significant resources into market research, testing, and blending techniques so that El Septimo is not just the best known cigars in the world for men, but the best known cigars in the world for all.”

The company says the El Septimo Alexandra Collection is shipping to stores.
