Earlier this year, Sean Williams announced he had taken a position with General Cigar Co., but that doesn’t mean the cigar company he founded, El Primer Mundo, is shutting down.
The company will show off a new line at next week’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show. As the name implies, The Clase Reserva Connecticut is a Connecticut version of the company’s Clase Reserve line. Underneath the Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper is a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers.
It’s offered in three sizes.
- Clase Reserva Connecticut Robusto (5 x 50) — $5
- Clase Reserva Connecticut Toro (6 x 52) — $5.75
- Clase Reserva Connecticut Churchill (7 x 50) — $6.50
The company is now being headed by Will Bolling, a longtime friend of Williams, and the cigars are continuing to be made at Best Cigars S.A. in Nicaragua.
