The newest line from CLE Cigar Co. is now off to stores.
Christian Eiroa, the company’s founder, announced that the Eiroa Dark, a three-size line made entirely of Honduran tobacco is off to stores. The Eiroa Dark uses Honduran corojo for the wrapper, binder and filler, but the wrapper is noted for its darker color due to its higher priming and processing.
“Because the leaves are higher on the plant, they are richer and once fermented they yield a darker shade,” said Eiroa in a letter to retailers. “The only appropriate name for these cigars is (Dark) due to their color and the fact we do not add anything to the wrappers to yield these colors.”
- Eiroa Dark 50 x 5 (5 x 50, $12.75)
- Eiroa Dark 54 x 6 (6 x 54, $13.75)
- Eiroa Dark 60 x 6 (6 x 60, $14.75)
The cigars are made at the El Aladino factory in Danlí, Honduras.
