The CLE exclusive for the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) has begun shipping.

Last Friday, the company began shipping the Eiroa First 20 Years Diadema (8 x 60 x 48), the company’s exclusive release for TAA in 2018. The blend itself is slightly different from the regular Eiroa First 20, using a Mexican seed grown at the family’s farms in Honduras, while the filler is Victoria seed, one originally grown by Generoso Eiroa, grandfather of Christian Eiroa.

The TAA is a fairly small group of some of the country’s top tobacconists, about 80 retailers as well as 40 or so manufacturers. The association gathers annually to discuss issues facing the industry and retailers, as well as to have its annual trade show, a unique event that works on a group buying format in order to secure exclusive deals for these generally high-volume merchants.

Pricing is set at $18 per cigar.

This is the third TAA release to ship this year following the CAO Estelí and Tatuaje TAA 50.
