Earlier today, I published an article titled Court Rules Against Cigar Groups Injunction, Summary Judgment Against FDA.

That article, in its entirety, was wrong.

In fact, the document that was included was a motion from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration asking the court to rule against the injunction and summary judgment. The court has not yet ruled on the motion.

Journalism is not baseball. People don’t get trophies for getting it right 35 percent of the time. Even being correct 99 percent of the time fails to meet the standard that most readers expect.

Today, I failed and for that I apologize.
