E.P. Carrillo has begun shipping the new Perez-Carrillo Pledge Lonsdale Limitada vitola to retailers.

It is a 6 1/2 x 43 vitola and uses the same blend as the other sizes in the Perez-Carrillo Pledge line, meaning a habano-seed wrapper from Connecticut, an Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan filler. The company produces the line at its Tabacalera La Alianza S.A. factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

It becomes the fourth size in the Perez-Carrillo Pledge line:

  • Perez-Carrillo Pledge Prequel (5 x 50) — September 2020 — Regular Production
  • Perez-Carrillo Pledge Sojourn (6 x 52) — September 2020 — Regular Production
  • Perez-Carrillo Pledge Apogee (6 1/4 x 58) — October 2021 — 3,000 Boxes of 10 Cigars (30,000 Total Cigars)
  • Perez-Carrillo Pledge Lonsdale Limitada (6 1/2 x 43) — September 2022 — 1,500 Boxes of 20 Cigars (30,000 Total Cigars)

Pricing is set at $12 per cigar and $240 per box of 20 cigars.

Patrick Lagreid

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. I previously covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
