It seems that E.P. Carrillo’s incredibly popular INCH line will be expanding at the 2014 IPCPR Convention and Trade Show, as pictures of the company’s new E.P. Carrillo INCH C-99 appeared on its Facebook page late Thursday night. The company promises that the new cigar be unveiled at the industry’s annual gathering in Las Vegas this July.

The accompanying comments noted that the pictures feature “the newest addition to Ernesto’s large ring gauge INCH Series of cigars…presented with a beautiful Corojo C-99 wrapper on an entirely new blend unique to this cigar. Power, Strength and Body are evident with this rich smoke.”

A spokesperson from the company told halfwheel that INCH C-99 will be available in four sizes: the 5 7/8 x 60 No. 60, 5 x 62 No. 62, 6 1/8 x 64 No. 64 and 7 x 70 No. 70. Each size comes in 24-count boxes with pricing the same as the existing INCH line.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
