The 2020 dates are already sold out.

  • Feb. 5-8, 2020
  • Feb. 9-12, 2020
  • March 1-4, 2020
  • March 4-7, 2020

Drew Estate indefinitely postponed Cigar Safari following civil unrest in Nicaragua in 2018.

Cigar Safari, founded in 2008, refers to both the tourism program as well as the area where guests stay, attached Drew Estate’s factory in Estelí. The four-day/three-night trips include a visit to the company’s factories and facilities, including Subculture Studios—Drew Estate’s art studio, as well as the opportunity to blend your own cigar and other activities in and around Estelí.

I am an editor and co-founder of halfwheel.com/Rueda Media, LLC. I previously co-founded and published TheCigarFeed, one of the two predecessors of halfwheel. I have written about the cigar industry for more than a decade, covering everything from product launches to regulation to M&A. In addition, I handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff here at halfwheel. I enjoy playing tennis, watching boxing, falling asleep to the Le Mans 24, wearing sweatshirts year-round and eating gyros. echte liebe.
