Drew Estate’s Undercrown Dogma, a box-pressed 6 x 56 toro gordo that came out in April 2014, is getting a wider release this year as the company has announced it will be made available to all Drew Estate Diplomat retailers.
The cigar was originally created with Cigar Dojo, an online cigar community, in celebration of its one year anniversary and had been sold exclusively through Florida-based Smoke Inn.
The Undercrown Dojo Dogma is based on the Undercrown Corona ¡Viva!, with a blend that uses a Mexican San Andreas wrapper, Connecticut stalk-cut habano binder, and a filler of Nicaraguan and Brazilian mata fina leaves. The Dogma is sold in 10-count bundles, with each cigar retailing for $9.95.
“DE absolutely loves the Dojo community and app because it represents the finest in cigar fellowship and technology,” said Jonathan Drew, president and co-founder of Drew Estate. “Dojo Dogma signifies our commitment to this distinguished community with a deep sense of purpose, as Dogma was created with intense, heartfelt passion. This is probably my favorite limited edition to date, along with the ShadyXV.”
The Undercrown Dojo Dogma is scheduled to re-released during the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival on Aug. 25 in Broomfield, Colo.
“Working with Jonathan and Drew Estate was a dream come true for the Dojo team throughout 2013 and 2014 and we could not have been more impressed with the final product,” said Eric Guttormson of Cigar Dojo.
