It’s the 20th anniversary of Shady Records and there’s another cigar from Drew Estate to celebrate.

The Undercrown ShadyXX is a 5 x 50 box-pressed belicoso with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Connecticut habano binder and fillers from Brazil and Nicaragua. That makes the cigar the same as the Undercrown ShadyXV, made to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the music label founded by Eminem and Paul Rosenberg.

Rosenberg is a noted cigar lover.

There are a few changes for the 20th anniversary release. First, the cigars will be priced at $10.40 instead of the $9.99 for the ShadyXV. Second, the cigars will now come in blue bundles with gold lettering as opposed to the craft paper bundles from five years ago.

Finally, it will be far less limited. The original release was limited to 500 bundles, only sold to stores in the Detroit area, where Eminem is from. This release will be sold nationally to Drew Diplomat Retailers.

It will debut at the 2019 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show this week and ship to stores in August.

There was supposed to be another release between the two companies. The Shady Southpaw was announced as a 2016 release but never made it to market, likely due to the eventual FDA regulations.
