Drew Estate’s push into non-traditional retailers will take another big step next week when the company will debut new 3 1/4 x 20 sizes called Frenchies in its ACID and Tabak Especial.

According to Joe Gro, digital media manager for Drew Estate, told halfwheel the cigars are rolled by hand at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Estelí. The ACID Frenchies use a Sumatran wrapper over Nicaraguan fillers, while the Tabak Especial Frenchies uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper over Nicaraguan fillers.

“Frenchies are the mega start to kick off the 20th Anniversary of ACID, and a perfect way to enjoy ACID in any moment during your day,” said Jonathan Drew, the company’s co-founder and president, in a press release. “For you coffee freaks, we also have the Tabak Especial in this new mini size. Why Frenchies you ask? Well, French is the language of romance and people are going to love these sticks.”

Both brands are offered in 10-packs, priced at $9.99, while the ACID Frenchies will also be sold for $5.99 per pack oof five. The packs will ship to retailers in 10-count sleeves.

The Frenchies will debut next week at Tobacco Plus Expo 2019 in Las Vegas. Kwik Trip will have an exclusive launch period of 60-days beginning March 1. Phillips & King, the parent company of Tobacco Plus Expo, will take preorders.

Drew Estate will offer the cigars to retailers nationwide at the 2019 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, which begins June 29 in Las Vegas.
