A year after introducing the Herrera Estelí Norteño, Drew Estate has announced a new, limited edition version of the blend.

The Herrera Estelí Norteño Edición Limitada is a 7 x 48 prensado churchill that will be sold in 15-count boxes. Blend specifications are the same as the regular version of the line, meaning the cigar has a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Honduran binder and Nicaraguan fillers.

Suggested retail pricing is $14 per cigar and it will be sold in 15-count boxes.

“The Norteño has been one of my favorite blends for many months now, with its meaty, spicy flavor; it just fits my palate perfectly,” said Willy Herrera, Drew Estate’s master blender, in a press release. “This new Edicion Limitada is based on the same Herrera Estelí Norteño blend profile with a few changes here and there. Any fan of our Herrera Estelí lines will definitely enjoy these sticks. Pick them up soon as they’re sure to sell out quickly.”

A spokesperson for the company indicated the cigar is limited to 2,000 boxes.

This becomes the seventh vitola in the line and the first limited version. All vitolas feature a soft box-press.

The Norteño Edición Limitada is expected to begin shipping to Drew Estate Diplomat Retailers in September. It will be shown off at this week’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show in New Orleans.
