My Father Cigars, Inc. will have an exclusive release for retail members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) this year in the form of the Don Pepin Garcia Original TAA Exclusive Limited Edition 2019, a 6 x 54 toro extra.

According to Cigar Aficionado, the new size is an extension to the Don Pepin Garcia line, meaning it is a Nicaraguan puro, though it will be made in Nicaragua instead of at the company’s El Rey de Los Habanos factory in Miami. Pricing is set at $10 and it will be offered in boxes of 25.

The TAA is a fairly small group of some of the country’s top tobacconists, about 80 retailers as well as 40 or so manufacturers. The association gathers annually to discuss issues facing the industry and retailers, as well as to have its annual trade show, a unique event that works on a group buying format in order to secure exclusive deals for these generally high-volume merchants.

It is set to take place March 17-21 at Casa de Campo in La Romana, Dominican Republic.

CLE, Crowned HeadsE.P. Carrillo, J.C. Newman, La Palina, Nat Sherman and Tatuaje have also announced TAA 2019 releases.

Emails sent to Janny García were not returned.
