The second Diesel Sunday Gravy is on shelves at stores.

It’s called the Diesel Sunday Gravy Pecorino, a 5 x 56 robusto gordo. The Sunday Gravy Pecorino uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Cameroon binder and fillers from Estelí, Nicaragua. This is the second cigar in the Sunday Gravy Series following the Sunday Gravy San Marzano that was released in August. At that time, Forged Cigar Co.—which distributes Diesel—said there would be a new Sunday Gravy cigar released in October.

Forged’s plan for Sunday Gravy is to release new cigars seasonally and to price the cigars with an MSRP of no more than $5, the Pecorino has an MSRP of $4.99.

“AJ and I had a lot of fun blending Diesel Sunday Gravy Pecorino. And as often happens over Sunday sauce, we brought our opinions to the table. ‘Pecorino’ represents what he and I both believe is the best of our palates: AJ’s nod to a bold smoke is there on the Nicaraguan ligero filler and my style is represented through the complexity and balance of the Mexican San Andres wrapper,” said Justin Andrews, brand manager for Diesel, in a press release. “This is the perfect cigar to enjoy, share or gift this holiday season and the size makes Pecorino the perfect smoke for any occasion. ”

Scandinavian Tobacco Group says the next Diesel Sunday Gravy will ship to stores in January 2022.
