Earlier this week at Art Basel Hong Kong, Davidoff debuted Art Edition 2014. The company announced the cigar late last year as a combination between the company’s cigar operations and it’s newly-launched Davidoff Art Initiative.

The Davidoff Limited Art Edition 2014 is a 5 15/16 x 54 perfecto made entirely of Dominican tobacco. It is offered in two different styles with art from Quisqueya Henríquez, a Cuban-born artist who is currently part of the Davidoff Art Initiative. The artwork, entitled “forms of freedom #1” and “forms of freedom #2” adorns both the boxes and a secondary band. Each style is limited to 3,000 boxes of 10, for a total of 60,000 cigars.

Pricing is set at $35 per cigar, which uses six fillers: piloto viso, San Vicente mejorado seco, piloto mejorado seco, San Vincente, mejorado viso and Vicente mejorado viso.

In addition, Henríquez created 50 Collectors Edition boxes which include an original print from the series.
