Davidoff Opening New Store in Seminole Hard Rock Next Week

The new Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911 store at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. is now open.

Davidoff has announced grand opening parties for Jan. 8 and 9 for the new store.

It measures 1,924-square-feet and features a retail humidor, lounge, over 100 private lockers and bar.

The store is a franchise location owned by Bol Hospitality, which operates restaurants at the Hard Rock.

“Partnering with Davidoff of Geneva was the best decision for this project. Both Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood and Davidoff are synonymous with high quality products and exceptional experiences, which clearly made them a perfect fit,” said Eric Douglas of Bol Hospitality. “The 1911 lounge is the space our cigar smoking guests have been waiting for. I can’t wait to unveil this luxurious enclave.”

The Seminole Hard Rock is located in Hollywood off I-95, roughly equal distance from Miami and Boca Raton. The property has hosted cigar events, most notably the 2019 Big Smoke Florida. It recently completed a $1.5 billion renovation which includes 17 new retail stores and a new hotel structure that is shaped like a guitar.

This will be the ninth flagship store in the U.S. joining the existing stores in: Atlanta, Brooklyn, Houston, Las Vegas, three locations in Manhattan and Tampa. The stores in Brooklyn, Las Vegas and Tampa are also franchise locations, while Davidoff owns the other five stores.

Update (Jan. 2, 2020) — Updated the dates about the grand opening parties. Davidoff originally indicated that the store had opened for a soft launch but now says that it did not soft open.
