Atlanta, arguably the city with more cigar shops in it than any other, will be getting another in the form of a very big name. Next year, Davidoff will open a flagship store in the Buckhead neighborhood in the northern part of the city.

Buckhead Atlanta

The 3,000 square-foot store will sit in the Buckhead Atlanta complex by OliverMcMillan located between Peachtree Road and N Fulton Dr. and Buckhead Ave. and Pharr Road. The space is divided into five areas including a 1,000-square-foot lounge as well as a VIP member’s lounge and conference room.

Davidoff says the new store will open in the spring, joining the company’s other flagship locations in the U.S. in Las Vegas and New York. It will be owned by Davidoff through a subsidiary that was created in September of this year. The store is formally known as “Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911.”

The Buckhead Atlanta shopping center already includes high-end tenants like Hermès with brands such as Christian Louboutin set to open shortly. OliverMcMillan’s marketing materials compare the shopping center to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.

Update (Dec. 10, 2014) — Renders of the store have been added to the post.
