Davidoff Adding Small Batch Exclusive 2018 to Vault Series
On Thursday, Davidoff’s next Vault Series release will go on sale.
The Davidoff Small Batch Exclusive 2018 is a 5 1/2 x 50 robusto extra. According to Davidoff, this cigar—which is also known as the Davidoff Small Batch Exclusive 2018 No. 2—”was originally crafted by our Master Blenders in 2018 for a small privileged circle of cigar enthusiasts.”
It uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Mexican Sumatra binder and four different Dominican fillers: Hybrid 119 visa, olor viso, San Vicente viso, and San Vicente ligero.
There will be a total of 570 bundles sold globally, only some of the 570 will go to the U.S. market. Davidoff’s online store has the cigars listed at $320 per bundle. Like other Vault Series releases in the past, some of the Small Batch Exclusive 2018 will go to select Davidoff appointed merchants.
Davidoff’s Vault program has seen the company rerelease a variety of previous limited editions, as well as unreleased cigars. These cigars are packaged in paper bundles of 10 and are sold through Davidoff’s online and flagship stores.
