Davidoff’s Air de Famille Series is getting a collection of humidors beginning next month.

The company has announced that it will release six limited edition humidors: three different wood species combinations, each available in two different sizes. While the name and finishes might be new, the sizes of the humidors should be familiar to those who have purchased a Davidoff humidor previously. The smaller size, known as Primos, measures 11 inches x 9.4 inches x 4.25 inches. It is designed to hold 25-35 cigars according to the company. The larger size is called Ambassador, designed to hold 70-80 cigars. It measures 15.15 inches x 9.45 inches x 5.63 inches and comes with a removable tray. Both sizes come with one Davidoff Slim Regulator, a humidification element.

All of the humidors are numbered and the most limited will be the Air de Famille Series Ziricote. The dark wood is found in parts of Central America and Africa and is known for its vein structures and its use in musical instruments. Davidoff says that the exterior is finished with a glossy effect. Inside, the humidor uses mahogany sapele.

The Ziricote models are limited to 50 units each.

The Air de Famille Series Smoked Oak uses an oak wood that goes through a fumigation process which Davidoff says gives the humidor its unique dark color and then a satin finish. Inside each humidor is a structure made of walnut.

Each size is limited to 60 humidors.

There is also the Air de Famille Series Olive Wood humidor which is offered with a satin matte finish. To keep with the lighter exterior color, the interior is made of Aniegre wood.

The Olive Wood humidors are limited to 70 pieces each.

In the U.S., the Primos size humidors will have an MSRP of $2,350 while the Ambassador humidors are priced at $2,900. While the first of these humidors will begin shipping in January, some of them are not slated to be released until later in 2022.

Davidoff’s humidors are made in France and carry a lifetime guarantee.
