Proceeds from the NYTA Rocky Patel Empire are being donated to the New York Tobacconist Association to fund the organization’s efforts to help cigar shops in New York. Specifically, bills that would create a 50-cent tax cap for cigars sold in New York and another that would make it easier for cigar stores to serve alcohol.

This is Aroma de Nicaragua’s second year exhibiting at the PCA Convention & Trade Show, and the company has brought two new lines to show off: one is a recreation of a cigar that the company’s founder’s grandfather smoked in Cuba, while the other is a series incorporating tobacco that has been aged for six years.
