Dalay Zigarren, a German distributor with an associated retailer, has a new cigar under its Zauberberg label: Affentanz.

Described as a German translation for “armed with monkeyness,” Affentanz is a new limited edition being produced in the Dominican Republic. It’s offered in a single 5 1/2 x 52 belicoso shape using a Pennsylvania broadleaf wrapper over a blend of Dominican and Brazilian fillers.

Tabacalera Magia Cubana, a factory best known for producing the bourbon cigar for Ted’s, is handling production, which is limited to 500 boxes of 10 cigars.

Dalay Zigarren is a German distribution company, most noted for being the distributor of Crowned Heads. The company also runs the La Casa del Habano in Saarbrücken.

Affentanz will be sold to other retailers in Germany. Pricing is set at €9.50 ($11.77) per cigar.
