Cigar Dojo has another collaboration, this time partnering with Cubariqueño Cigar Co. and Famous Smoke Shop.

Like Cubariqueño’s national releases, the cigar’s name has roots in law enforcement: Protocol K9 Breakdown.

The cigar is a 5 x 56 Nicaraguan puro that uses a habano rosado wrapper. The company says that it’s a full-bodied release.

“This cigar has special meaning to me,” said Eric Guttormson, owner of Cigar Dojo, in a press release. “My brother-in-law is a K9 officer and has had some incredible K9 companions: JR, Max, Thor, and his newest officer, Arrow, are an amazing benefit to the law enforcement community. Creating a cigar project to honor these awesome animals and their handlers means a lot to the Dojo crew.”

Pricing is set at $8.99 per cigar or $89.99 per bundle of 10. Production is limited to 300 bundles of 10 cigars.

The Protocol K9 Breakdown will go on sale on March 23 at Famous Smoke Shop. The staffs of both Cigar Dojo and Cubariqueño will be at the company’s Easton, Pa. store where the K9 Breakdown will go on sale at 10 a.m.; online sales will begin at noon EST.
