Cubancan has crafted its own special event cigar. The 6 x 60 Cubanacan Perfecto will be offered as an event-only item for those who purchase boxes of Cubancans at events.

Jas Broome, vp of sales for Cubancan, told halfwheel the cigar is an entirely new blend, designed to be fuller. If features an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, Ecuadorian binder and fillers from Nicaragua’s Estelí and Jalapa regions.

“We made it to be something that was very full and complex as you smoke it,” said Broome.

Customers who purchase a box will receive a box of five Cubancan Exclusivo Perfectos.

It first was shown to customers at an event on March 27 at the Maduro Room in Lexington, S.C. Broome told halfwheel it will make a more formal debut at City Place Cigars in Lynchburg, Va. on April 11.

The cigars are made at Cubanacan’s Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
