The first of the three Crux Short Salomones is heading to stores this week.

Crux Cigars announced that it has begun shipping the Epicure Short Salomone, a 6 x 54 perfecto vitola.

“The Short Salomone Series is really a showcase of craftsmanship, due to the difficulty this vitola presents. Only the best rollers can execute this shape,” said Jeff Haugen, president of Crux, in a press release.

Like the rest of the Epicure line, the cigar uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Condega, Nicaragua. The company says Epicure is its best selling line.

The Epicure Short Salmone is priced at $12.99 and limited to 500 boxes of 10 cigars.

In addition to the Epicure, Crux’s Guild and Limitada lines will also receive the Short Salomone vitola.
