Crux will once again sell the same three sizes of Limitada cigars this year, though more will be available than in prior years.

At least two of them will only be offered to retailers that place orders during the 2022 PCA Convention & Trade Show this July, historically, Crux sells all three cigars during the trade show. The Premium Cigar Association announced via its social media that the Short Salmon will only be available to show attendees and Crux has historically only offered “The Show” vitola to stores who place orders during the trade show.

  • Crux Limitada PB5 2022 (5 3/4 x 54) — TBA
  • Crux Limitada Short Salomone 2022 (6 x 54) — $16 (Box of 20, $320)
  • Crux Limitada The Show 2022 (5 x 52) — TBA

Each cigar uses the same blend: a Nicaraguan Engañoso wrapper which Crux says is exclusively grown for the company over a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper and fillers from the Dominican Republic & Nicaragua. The Limitada is designed as a once-per-year, limited edition offering.

The Short Salomone will be limited based on the orders received at the show, while the other two sizes will be limited to 1,250 boxes of 20 cigars, 5,000 more cigars per size compared to 2021. Pricing for the other two sizes has not been announced.

The 2022 PCA Convention & Trade Show takes place July 9-12 in Las Vegas. The Short Salmon size will begin shipping in September, ship dates for the other two vitolas have not been finalized.
