Crowned Heads and the Tabacalera Pichardo factory have spent three years working on a new cigar blend, which will be called Mil Días, Spanish for 1,000 days.

According to Cigar Aficionado, the new blend will use an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Peru. It will be offered in four sizes:

  • Mil Días Edmundo (5 3/8 x 52)
  • Mil Días Corona Gorda (6 x 46)
  • Mil Días Sublime (6 x 54)
  • Mil Días Double Robusto (6 3/8 x 50)

The cigars will be offered in boxes of 20, pricing has not been announced.

Crowned Heads and Tabacalera Pichardo was Juárez, a cigar the companies began working on in 2016. It debuted in late 2018 as an exclusive for Thompson Cigar before becoming a national brand. Crowned Heads is also the distributor for Tabacalera Pichardo’s own brand, ACE Prime.

Jon Huber, Crowned Heads co-founder, did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
