The 2018 edition of the Las Calaveras is now shipping.

Crowned Heads has begun shipping the fifth rendition of its annual limited edition series. As in years past, the line features four sizes and artwork inspired by La Calavera Catrina, a zinc etching by José Guadalupe Posada. The company has always stated the release is related to the Días de los Muertos holiday, a Mexican holiday that celebrates the dead.

Different for this year is the color scheme—a bright green—and blend. For the first time, the cigar will use Mexican tobacco.

It’s a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua.
